African Theatre

During our performances, our musicians and dancers are dressed traditionally or according to your requirements. Our performances are ideal for opening conventions, seminars, conferences and product launches, creating a powerful impact within a short space of time. Our sessions comprise of music making and experiencing the magic of rhythm. Performances are used for informal and social functions, boosting and building group energy with less exercises and strategies. Fire dancers, stilt walkers and jugglers are optional and create a festive and entertaining atmosphere. The range of possibilities are only limited to the imagination.

Briefing

African theatre showcases the many musical traditions and cultures of South Africa, portrayed in a typical theatrical style. The show starts with a traditional stick fight which moves into a stylish display consisting of a marimba band, gumboot dancing, Zulu dancing & pansula dancing. The show can be customized to a theme, event or brief. The standard performance is 1 hour, which can be adapted into two thirty-minute shows.

Duration of performances range from 40 minutes to 1 hour
Our performances are staged events – the audience does not participate
Ask about souvenirs for your event!
For events that are more than 300km from Johannesburg, possible accommodation and meals will be required for the amount of performers used.
