Denton Douglas is one of the bright up and coming stand-up comedies in South Africa today.
Starting off as a comedy improve comedian, with the Joe Parker’s Improve Comedy group, he then later took the next step into stand up comedy. Denton has now been working as a comedian around South Africa for the last four years.
Denton works manly in the greater Gauteng area, hosting a show on Monday nights at Tony’s bar and grill, as well as appearances on the comedy circuit in Gauteng. He also works as an actor and MC.

His T.V. and film appearances in clued Generations, Angels Song, Jozie Streets, 7de Laan (SA) Cave Girl, Uncle Max, Rough (UK), Stunder and Generation Kill (USA) to name a few.
Denton has also Emceed many events, from stand up gigs, charity events, golf days, weddings to road shows. A couple of these include hosting Woodstock (main stage), The Starfish foundation’s Party of Hope and the opening of Greenstone Shopping Centre. |
