INTERACTIVE DRUMMING AND AFRICAN DANCING

“a fun session of rhythm, song and dance in the true spirit of Africa..’’
|
Briefing:
-
The client has two options in this combination activity which lasts 90 minutes.
Option 1:
The whole team will do 45-minutes of Interactive Drumming and then another 45 minutes of Interactive Zulu Dancing.
Option 2:
We will divide your group of delegates into two equal separate groups, a drum ensemble, and a Zulu dancing troop.
We will provide a drum for the drummers and a selection of other percussion instruments.
For the male Zulu dancers we will provide a hide skirt, arm bands, shin garters and a head band.
For the female Zulu dancers we will provide a material skirt wrap and a shoulder throw over.
The drummers will learn a traditional Zulu rhythm and a traditional song, whilst the dancers go off to learn a traditional, choreographed Zulu dance sequence and a Zulu song.
For one hour the delegates will learn their specific rhythms/dance routines, and for the last ½ hour, our head facilitator will bring the teams together to perform their own industrial theatre.
The drummers will supply the rhythm and the dancers will perform their routine to the beat of their colleagues.
This will end on a high note, with the company performing as a team, with enthusiasm and synergy, culminating into an evening of drum and dance of the Zulu kingdom.
An experience never to be forgotten!
“Everyone
is energized, motivated and focused"
