‘Tribes throughout
the world practice dance rituals to celebrate all occasions and ceremonies,
such as births, harvests, worship and unions. Dancing and singing to the
rhythm of Africa was used to create a sense of unity, motivation, physical
and mental well being in the tribe...’
“….dance
as a team, experience the power of synergy…”
Briefing:
We will provide traditional
attire for your delegates in the form of leather accessories and colorful
material skirts for the ladies.
We will teach you the
dance routine, the songs and accompanying sounds. A drummer will provide
the background rhythm to entertain the dancers.
Soon you will know the
whole dance sequence.
Depending on the size
of the group, we will split you into smaller groups, demonstrating the
group synergy as an industrial theatre!
Requirements:
A big enough space for
each delegate to jump/move/dance comfortably.
Men to wear comfortable
clothing (Shorts and t-shirts, as they might want to get really traditional
and go with no shirt and wear the “skirt” over the shorts),
ladies to wear comfortable clothes, the skirt will wrap-around over your
clothes.
To really get into the
spirit, you might want to ask everyone to bring face paint along and
before the event, paint some tribal signs on each other.
A power point for groups
80 and more, for our Sound system.
